Windows Vista

Everyone seems to have a post out here about Windows Vista. So this is mine.

I checked out Vista at PC World today. You walk into that place and they are practically shoving Bill Gate’s product down your throat. It is everywhere as soon as you walk through the door. Every PC screen in that place has it running through Demo Mode. Then when you buy something.. they have Vista ads on the back of the receipts they give you and then more Vista ads on the bags they put your stuff in. There is no escape. If you want your computer to be a VCR/CD player get Vista… if you want your computer to be a computer.. get Linux. As far as Vista goes… it is slick lookin’ just like Windows95 (when it came out). Other than that… it is XP with a new paint job. Granted I didn't check it out in great detail, but you know what it does... plays DVDs, CDs and Games; just like the XBOX.
