Disenchanted w/ 'Maximum PC' Mag

I continue to be un-impressed w/ Maximum PC magazine. Here are some websites pulled out of their article "The 15 Best Web Apps You've Never Heard Of."
www.wayfaring.com - um... not impressed w/ this one. Waste of time.
www.backpackit.com - what is the difference between this and a 'wiki'?
www.zooomr.com - Flickr is fine.
www.soonr.com - access the files on your PC. Wow! What a concept. There are a few different apps you can use to do this... not sure if this is the 'one'.
www.slacker.com - I get, 'We're sorry Slacker Personal radio is not available in your area.'. Sucks. It looks like another web-based media player... exactly what we need more of.
www.blinkx.com - online videos. Yes, we need more of this. Youtube, google video, my space videos, joost, etc... we still don't have enough options.
www.widgetbox.com - this might be something worth checking into.
www.meebo.com - one-stop web-based IM Client. Great.. but will I be able to run it at work?
www.yousendit.com - this one may come in handy if the other large file delivery site doesn't work.
www.odeo.com - what the hell am I supposed to use this for. (that goes for WayFaring.com as well)
www.mindmeister.com - Map out ideas online w/ collegues using this app. I usually do this at work face-to-face.
www.twitter.com - what a waste of computing power

Most of these web apps... I still wish I've 'never heard of'.
